This course will introduce academic writing skills and characteristics of graduate level theses. With the premise that writing is thinking, students will learn to express themselves logically and coherently in English.

As this is a skills class, lessons will focus on practicing various skills introduced each week and for which students have completed background reading and assignments. Students will receive appropriate feedback and, if necessary, individualized reinforcement practice.
