This course provides basic knowledge of "Regional Political Economy" and the related approaches, and opportunity for thinking about potentiality of regional (and local) economies as development units of your economic society. "Regional Political Economy" is oriented to unravel dynamics and diversity of regional economies by way of comparative (historical and institutional) analysis, and to show potentiality of regional strategies for modern economic issues. Through this course, you will know why not national economies and firms but regional economies also matter.
