授業の目的  
This is a field workshop in International and Labor Economics. The workshop is designed to support dissertation research by Ph.D. students in the early stages of dissertation work and to provide an institutionalized venue for regular interaction among Ph.D. students and faculty working on international and labor economics research.

Students are required to conduct their own research, especially research in the early stages of dissertation work such as literature review and writing research proposals in the field of international economics or labor economics.
 
成績評価の方法

The grading is based on presentations and class participation. Presentation of one’s own ongoing research is required. Regular attendance and active participation in discussions is required. A completed research proposal by the last class is required.
