In this course students will gain an in-depth understanding of the fundamental features of academic writing and acquire writing and research skills, from asking the right research questions and assessing previous literature, to writing a literature review and a research design. Throughout this course, students will focus on preparing a well-structured thesis proposal/master plan, which can then be developed into a full master’s thesis after completing this course.
This course is suitable for students who are in the planning or early stage of thesis writing. It is not suitable for those who have already written a substantial portion of their thesis.
